Two women in a rural, Indiana town deal with their boredom
in very different ways. Allie Kramer, a greeting card artist escapes through
her work of soothing land and seascapes in attempts to fill the void of an
absent partner. With Dan away managing a
corporate takeover there's not much for her to do, but paint and observe her
brash and flirtatious friend Tess Gardner, who lives next door actively seeking
the next big thrill. When Marty Crawford moves into the neighborhood their
friendship drifts into uncharted waters
